Rest Day is a weightlifting tracker built to work entirely on your device. This Privacy Policy explains, plainly, that we don't collect your data — because there's nothing for us to collect.

1. Our Privacy-First Approach

Everything stays on your device. Rest Day stores all your routines, workout sessions, and personal records locally on your device (iOS or Android) using an on-device SQLite database. We don't collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of it.

2. What Information We Don't Collect

Rest Day does not collect:

• Usage analytics — we don't track how you use the app
• Personal identifiers — no account creation, sign-in, or user profiles tied to an identity
• Device information — no device identifiers or advertising IDs are collected
• Location data — we never access your location
• Contact information — no email addresses, phone numbers, or contacts are requested
• Behavioral tracking — no cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs

3. No Network Access

Rest Day does not request network or internet permissions on either iOS or Android and makes no network calls of any kind. Your workout data is never transmitted anywhere — not to us, not to any third party, not even for backup, unless you rely on your device's own operating-system-level backup features, which are entirely outside our control.

4. Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored exclusively on your device:

• Your workouts, exercises, and personal records never leave your phone
• No cloud storage or remote database of any kind
• Complete data ownership — you control all your information
• Standard OS-level app sandboxing (iOS and Android) protects your data from other apps

5. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally, you're always in control:

• Delete individual workouts, routines, or exercises anytime within the app
• Uninstall the app to remove all of its data from your device
• There's no need to request deletion from us — we never had a copy to delete

6. No Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with anyone, because we don't collect any information in the first place.

7. Children's Privacy

Rest Day is designed for general audiences and is not directed at children. Since we don't collect any personal information from anyone, regardless of age, there is no risk to children's privacy under COPPA or similar laws.

8. International Usage

Rest Day can be used worldwide. Since all data stays on your device and nothing is transmitted, there are no international data transfers of any kind.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If this policy ever changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised version on this page.

10. Your Rights Under Privacy Laws

Privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA give you rights over your personal data. Since we don't collect or store any personal data, these rights are automatically satisfied:

• Right to access — your data is always accessible to you, on your device
• Right to deletion — delete data in-app, or uninstall to remove everything
• Right to correction — edit any entry directly in the app
• No sale of data — there's no data collected to sell in the first place
